Camiplay are a start up working within the adult web cam industry. Coming into a competitive industry knowing most of their market was search orientated they wanted to explore the potential of an extensive SEO campaign coupled with paid advertising on Google.

Challenge
Camiplay had a brand new domain which had no history or exposure. In order to start building revenue we needed to build the model portfolio as quick as possible so there was a reasonable amount of activity when users landed on the site.
Solution
We ran a very targeted PPC campaign targeting the sign up on models. Meanwhile we implemented an adult industry SEO strategy to build the organic profile of the site to target viewers. For short term gains we handpicked some established sites to publish guest blogs and saw a huge amount of referral traffic coming in. Porn site SEO is usually approached in a spammy way, however at Bird found using traditional white hat methods and good onsite SEO for this cam site worked well.

We exceeded both the client’s and our own expectations with the traction of this campaign with some keywords featuring in position 1 on Google and the majority of high-volume terms breaking onto the first page. Some of these keywords receive in excess of 200k searches per month! Overall our digital marketing for adult websites made huge gains in this highly competitive industry.
